ANNUAL NOTICE
The Montague Board of Education, in accordance with the requirements of the
Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), has conducted the inspections
for asbestos in all the district’s school buildings. The results of these
inspections are contained in the Asbestos Management Plan. This plan identifies
for each building any asbestos containing materials that are in the building,
their location and their condition. A surveillance inspection is conducted every
six (6) mounts to determine if there is any change in the condition of the
materials.
The district wide Asbestos Management Plan is available for review at the
Board of Education, 475 Rt. 206, between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm,
Monday through Friday.
ANNUAL NOTICE
Under the New Jersey Safe Drinking Act Sub chapter (N.J.A.C. 7:10) we would
like to assure you that we are under all maximum contaminate levels (mcl’s) for
public drinking water.
ANNUAL NOTICE
Under the New Jersey School Integrated Pest Management Act (S-137), we would
like to inform you that we have been pesticide free since 7/21/04.
